Major exercise this evening

A major incident exercise is taking place on South Quay in Douglas this evening (Wednesday).

The road will be closed from the bridge to Battery Pier at 6pm and at 7pm a siren will mark the beginning of the exercise.

The government's emergency planning managers say it'll improve responses to real disasters.
