Grant to Run in memory of Special Olympic Athlete Gareth Cowin

Grant Dawson of Barclays Bank in Douglas is to take part in the Syd Quirk Half Marathon held at the South of the Island on the 24th November. Grant who plays football for St Georges AFC with Liam Cowin the brother of Special Olympic Isle of Man Athlete Gareth Cowin who sadly passed away earlier this year said, “Due to my friendship with Liam and seeing him on a regular basis throughout this tough time I thought it would be nice to raise money for a worthwhile cause. I will be running it in memory of Gareth”.
