Willaston house damp work should start soon

The next phase to resolve the damp in houses in Willaston is to begin soon.

Six properties were successfully treated earlier this year.

If approved by Douglas Council this afternoon, work will begin on the next 24 houses, at a cost of ?55,000 each.

Chairman of the Housing and Property Committee David Ashford says a total rebuild would be too costly:
