Snow warning on the Island's roads

by isleofman.com 19th November 2013

Police are warning motorists about snow and slippery conditions on some of the Island’s roads this morning.

The Department of Infrastructure’s gritters are out on routes affected by snow and hail overnight.

Officers say particularly badly affected is Higher Foxdale near the Ballamodha Straight.

The Mountain Road has been closed between the Ramsey Hairpin and the Creg ny Baa after motorists got into difficulty.

Richmond Hill in Braddan is described as slippery because of the snow.

Motorists are being asked to drive cautiously.
