by isleofman.com 19th November 2013

Group Commercial Director Kevin O’Connell has been named in Private Client Practitioner’s annual ‘Top 50 Most Influential 2014’. Kevin has been recognised by the publication as a leading practitioner in the private client trust and corporate services sector.

Kevin’s place in the Top 50 Most Influential is the third accolade the Group has received this year from the leading industry publication. The 50 Most Influential is designed to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the leading practitioners of the private client professions and shows the breadth and depth of talent at the forefront of the private client professions today. Those that have made it onto the list are the leaders when it comes to providing the best possible service for clients and innovation in the way the needs of wealthy individuals are met.

Kevin joined First Names Group in 1995. He became Managing Director of the Jersey business in 2001 and joined the group board in 2006. His role has expanded exponentially since the Group went through a management buyout, rebrand and repositioning last year. His principal responsibility is for the organic growth of the business.

Kevin holds an Honours Law Degree from the National University of Ireland and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1992.  He also holds a Diploma in Property Tax from the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland.
First Names Group now has over 460 ‘First Names’ and is one of the world's largest independent trust, fund and corporate services providers.

Kevin will attend an awards reception in London on 9 December to celebrate his achievement and meet other practitioners who are being honored.

Group Commercial Director, Kevin O’Connell comments;

“I am delighted to have been recognised for my work at First Names Group and to share the Private Client Practitioners Top 50 award with outstanding professionals in the private client arena.”
