Chief Minister to meet Flybe

by isleofman.com 19th November 2013
Chief Minister Allan Bell says he’ll meet Flybe bosses later this week after their announcement the company’s Isle of Man base will close.

In Tynwald this morning, he faced a question from North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson about the government’s response to the potential loss of 49 jobs.

Mr Bell said he’d be meeting senior managers to discuss the closure – and the future of the patient transfer service the airline runs.

He told the court until he’d met the company, it was still too early to form a response to its plans:Clip 1
