'Pinewood gains' will boost reserves says Treasury Minister

More questions have been asked in Tywnald about the performance of the Manx government's investment in Pinewood film studios.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft continued to press Treasury minister Eddie Teare on how he measures the success of the Island's ?25 million media development fund, managed by Pinewood.
The government has also bought a ?12 million stake in the studios.
Mr Teare has described the Pinewood investment as the most successful in the government's portfolio.
But in a supplementary question Michael MHK Alf Cannan said he was uncomfortable with the venture as cutbacks are made in everyday services:
But the Treasury minister insisted the Pinewood investment was a sound one - which would help boost the economy:
