Adventurous Experiences, the adventure sports centre based near St John's held a free session for children last weekend as part of the tenth anniversary celebrations of the Western Swimming Pool in Peel.

Adventurous Experiences have supported the pool for many years and have recently upgraded their range of kayaks that are based there where they run kayaking courses for both children and adults, making use of the modern heated pool. In addition to the tuition offered by the company, children's kayak parties are also held at the pool on various Saturday afternoons by prior arrangement.  The free session was offered to allow children to come and have a go in a safe, fun environment.

Keirron Tastagh, Director & lead coach at Adventurous Experiences said "We've been working with the Western Swimming Pool and their staff for many years and were more than happy to offer a free session as part of their anniversary celebrations. It was great to see such a huge take up".
