Douglas keep up pressure with away win

Douglas secured a bonus point win on the road in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two, defeating struggling Manchester 29-11 and maintained the pressure on runaway leaders New Brighton.
Bryn Snellgrove, James Wood, Lance Wyllie and Daryn Thompson all crossed for Douglas tries with Snellgrove adding three conversions and a penalty.
Vagabonds dropped a place in Division Two after losing 48-0 to a powerful Liverpool Collegiate side.
Southport's defeat of Marple pushes them into fifth place ahead of Vagas.
Ramsey lost 42-24 to fellow strugglers Dukinfield but grabbed a try bonus point for the first time this season.
Ali Trace, John F Watling, Rory Nicholson and Mikey Craine all picked up tries for Ramsey with Dan Bonwick adding two conversions.
