Milk thefts

In the early hours of Tuesday 26th November, several pints of milk have been stolen from outside the Newsagent Shop on Brunswick Road.  Police would like to take this opportunity to remind all stores and persons who receive milk to arrange with the Creameries to have the delivery secured.

PC Mike Griffiths stated that this is a growing trend and people need to be more security conscious.  He also asks that if you have a pint of milk stolen, it is essential to report it, in order to identify patterns and trends in your local area.

This is not a new problem.  You do not need to go to the extent as pictured, however, a lockbox would go some way to deter thieves from taking your milk.
