Four local charities will benefit from the Ice Skate Isle of Man ice rink this Christmas - Hospice Isle of Man, Save the Children, Age Isle of Man and The Children’s Centre. Five events will be held in order to raise funds for these wonderful causes.
The first 2 events are corporate evenings on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th December. How about a Christmas team bonding night on the ice? Contact Stephanie on 431067 for further details or to book your company’s night out. The options for the one hour events are 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. Tickets are ?40 each for a wonderful hospitality package.
A very special day is planned for Saturday 14th December – Ice Skate with Kyran Bracken. This day will start at 9.30am and run through to 5.15pm with eight sessions being held during the day. This event will consist of meeting Santa Clause, hog roast, special Christmas treats and drinks, fancy dress competitions, face painting, fun, games, a raffle and lots of prizes – all for ?10!
The final 2 events are charity nights on Tuesday and Wednesday 17th and 18th December with evening sessions from 6pm on the hour. The tickets for these are ?10 each.
There will lots of additional fun organised by the charities at all these events.
All ticket proceeds for these events will be donated to the charities.
Stephen Bradley, Managing Director of Tynwald Mills said “Tynwald Mills is thrilled to be hosting the Ice Skate Isle of Man this year and in the process helping to raise valuable funds for some very worthy charities. We look forward to welcoming everyone here during the festive season.”
Mr Bradley added: “We are doubly delighted that rugby star and Dancing on Ice Star Kyran Bracken will be on the Island for the event on Saturday 14th December.”
This year the rink will run from 7th December 2013 through to 6th January 2014.
Kyran is delighted to be involved in this project once again saying “When given the opportunity to work with PokerStars and Tynwald Mills and together, raise a large sum of money for 4 island based charities, I jumped at the chance to be involved again”
