Police investigating unexplained death in Douglas

Police are investigating the death of a 27 year old male.
 
The Ambulance Service was called to attend an address in Mona Street, Douglas shortly after 9.40am on Saturday 18th January 2014, and it was found that the male had died prior to the arrival of paramedics. Police also attended the address.
 
The Police are investigating the male’s death on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests. The cause of death has yet to be established, and is currently being described as “unexplained”.
 
The enquiry into his death is being led by officers from CID, supported by colleagues based at Douglas Police Station.
 
Sergeant Bobby Syme said: “We are treating the male’s death as “unexplained” and medical tests are ongoing."
