Due to the great success of the Bespoke business, on December 22nd, 2013 the official Claire Christian Couture luxury boutique online website , clairechristiancouture.com was launched showcasing Claire’s first Spring/Summer 2014 cruise collection, selling internationally. The collection specialises in red carpet wear, evening wear, crystal embellished pieces and seasonal pieces for all occasions.
Creative and Company Director Claire Christian said, “I believe fashion is so much more than the clothes you wear. It’s the spirit with which they’re designed and made, the detail that shows care and attention and the experience of wearing something that can transform your mood. It’s an art, a luxury and a lifestyle.
Drawing from my experiences of working with some of the best people in the fashion industry, my mantra is couture in design, quality and service. From my home and showroom in the Isle of Man in the British Isles, I aim to go above and beyond expectations, creating beautifully engineered garments.
My dream is to create a special experience for women of all shapes and sizes – a world of luxurious fabrics and design, tailored just to them, as I believe that every woman should have a little luxury in her life. Modern, trend-led but also catering for classic red carpet and evening wear attire, the brand is famed for wardrobe staples, hero pieces and proudly designing and making everything by hand right here in the UK”.
Claire also actively promotes working with other local creative entrepreneurs and businesses, such as Charles Alexander, Sarah Lennon Hats, Sarah Jewel Photography, Emma MacDonald Hair and Beauty Salon, Utopia, Charlotte Easton Makeup Artist, and fashion stylist William Holden.
The future for Claire Christian Couture holds many opportunities for young people to gain real fashion industry experience here on the island. Claire has one design assistant already, local Peel resident Alanna Maclean, and takes on regular internships throughout the year.
The collection is soon to branch into other product categories, such as knitwear, and jeans, both aiming at the after-hours consumer.
