Police say they’ve discovered who was responsible for a huge fuel spill which meant roads in the west had to be closed for hours yesterday.
A stretch of the TT course between Kirk Michael and Ballig and parts of Foxdale were shut for around five hours yesterday afternoon and evening as Department of Infrastructure workers battled to clear diesel from road surfaces.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team says investigations yesterday uncovered who’d caused the spill.
Officers say they’ll now try to find out exactly what happened.
