Gas escape in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 7th February 2014

Manx Gas are currently investigating a gas escape at the junction of Bowring Road and North Shore Road in Ramsey which will cause inevitable traffic disruption while engineers deal with the situation and carry out repairs.

“We have set up a three-way traffic management system with traffic lights while the work is carried out and the zebra crossing will also have to be closed ,” said a Manx Gas spokesperson.

He added: “We apologise for any inconvenience while these works take place but the safety of the public is of paramount importance to us.  We will endeavour to complete the necessary work as soon as possible and will keep the public informed of progress made.”
