Vagabonds meet Western Vikings in Manx Plate final

Vagabonds B and Western Vikings both won their respective semi finals to set up the first final of the domestic season.

Vagas beat Ramsey B 38-10 at a windy Ballafletcher to keep on course for a notable double.

Andy Bunce and David Keenan both picked up consolation tries for Ramsey B.

At Poulsom Park in a hotly contested game, Western Vikings defeated Castletown 32-19.

Mark Venables kicked four first half penalties for Vikings who also had a try from prop Mark Bienvenu and led 17-5 at the break after Callum Donnell crossed for Town.

In the second half, Lee McIvor and Will Stanton both picked up tries for Town with Donnell converting both.

However, a brace from Vikings wing Sam Radcliffe, plus a try from back row man Kevin Mellor, sealed the deal for the men from Peel.
