Week 13 and some may say unlucky 13 as it turned out that way, for a few, not least the Commie Raven.

Commie Raven 4 - 5 Commie:

The bragging rights went the way of the Commie boys this time and they really are hitting form at the right time of the year and keep marching up the table whereas on the other hand the title has surely now slipped away from the Commie Raven.  Missing the influential players of Jay Radcliffe who has been missing due to enjoying fatherhood and Phil Teare any team would struggle but with the likes of Chris McConnell,  Mike Walsh (6 tons) and Brian Thompson (5 tons) gaining big wins this week it keeps them rolling along. The old boy, Charlie Cormode, keeps showing them how its done though with another 6 ton hall.

Plough B 7 - 2 Stanley:

This scoreline does one of two things, it flatters very slightly the big margin as the Stanley had to forfeit two games, but also shows what a power house the B boys can be this week.  Their star men were Dave Faragher (4 tons) and Jamie Kelly (5 tons). The only singles win for the reigning champions was another old boy Charlie Cover.

Mitre 2 - 7 Bar Logo:

Another side who have caught the long awaited wave, and this will kick the Logo boys on, because no one goes to the Mitre and hands them a thrashing like this.  The usual suspects Alan Young (7 tons including 180 and 17 & 18dl) and Andy Evans (7 tons and a 21dl) helped power them to victory and a major scalp for Conall Hughes taking out our stat pace setter Roy Dunlop.  Derek Radcliffe was the only man for the Mitre to take a win.

Swan 9 - 0 RAOB:

If I was to tell you that the orange army only won one leg and then told you they should and could have won a couple of games you would think I had been drinking but sure enough John Piekalns was that man and had 4 darts at a double to take Wayne Harrison out 2-0.  He missed, Wayne didn't, and the chase keeps on for the Swan boys. Paul Palmer (5 tons) Wayne Harrison and Marty Long (4 tons) and capped off by Paul Arthur taking out 235 in a perfect 5 darts sealed a big win that may prove the difference come April 15th.

Personally, I'd like to thank Nathan Walker who gave me a PokerStars signed shirt with Simon Whitlock,  Michael Van Gerwen and the one and only Phil Taylors' autographs on,  he has told me to auction it off with all proceeds going into the Academy's funds.

There was no winner again this week of the Paul Wheeler Plumbing & Heating-sponsored highest finish.

The Plough A still leads the way by 2 points from the Swan.

I must apologise, I made a mistake on the Bar Logo Northern Championship entry form, the top 16 players will be seeded not that is all that is allowed to enter as the form makes out.
