The animal theme draws to a close on Saturday, February 22, when the regular Sticky Fingers session focuses on woodland animal collage, from 10.30am-12.30pm.

Anyone calling into the library at other times will also find activities related to the theme.

For those events that require a place to be booked and paid for, either call into the library or call 640650 to secure a spot.

Meanwhile, staff at the library – which is next to the children’s playground in Westmoreland Road, Douglas - are warning users that it cannot be reached via Tynwald Street as work to build flats is taking place nearby. Those arriving in a car can still reach the library via Princes Street.
