AG trial - jury sent home for the day

The jury in the trial of the Island's Attorney General will resume its deliberations tomorrow morning (Friday).

Today it spent just over four hours considering its verdicts after being sent to retire.

The judge presiding over the case, Deemster Peter Birkett, had earlier told jurors to engage in a 'cool and dispassionate' discussion as they consider evidence heard over the past eight days.

Fifty two year old Stephen Harding of Glen Vine perjury and committing an act against public justice relating to the winding up of former Island company Street Heritage in 2010.
