ICE delegates pursue new e-gaming business

The Isle of Man's e-gaming sector is optimistic it has caught the attention of firms from across the globe at one of the industry's biggest annual events.


And there are high hopes a joint government-private sector delegation will drum-up significant new business after last week's ICE Totally Gaming event in London.


The expo attracted 17000 people and saw a steady flow of inquiries at the Manx stand in the Excel arena.


Island-based e-gaming firms supported by a range of specialist service providers have created a cluster which has won respect in the industry in recent years.


CEO of e-gaming at the Department of Economic Development Peter Greenhill led the delegation and is now following up many 'high quality' contacts made at ICE.


He says there was tangible interest in the Island as a welcoming and well-regulated jurisdiction:
