Youngsters invited to lend a hand with lambing

There's a chance to let your children witness spring bursting out all over at an Island farm this half-term.
Ballig Farm in Jurby East is throwing open its gates for the public to watch - and perhaps help with - spring lambing.
Visitors will be offered a close-up experience inside the lambing sheds, helping ewes and their offspring in the pens.
Lambing Live 2014 sessions will be held 2-4 pm this Saturday and Sunday (15, 16 Feb), the following weekend and Tuesday and Thursday of half-term week.

Hilary and Paul Fletcher's first open event last year attracted around 500 people.
