Jurby farm offers chance to see new life burst out

by isleofman.com 16th February 2014
If you're looking for a half-term treat with the wow factor - a Jurby farm may have the answer.
A Lambing Live event's being held today (Sunday), next weekend and on Tuesday and Thursday of the school holiday.
It offers visitors a chance to watch live births, feed mums and their offspring in the pens and help around the lambing sheds.
The gates of Ballig Farm in Jurby East are being thrown open by Paul and Hilary Fletcher for the second year.
Paul says they want more people to enjoy an up-close-and-personal farming experience.
The sessions are for two hours and start at 2pm. To book call 463032.
There's a small charge and donations for DreamCatcher are invited.
The lambing takes place indoors so the event is not weather dependent.
