Couples who visited the recent annual Sefton Wedding Fair will surely be looking forward to celebrating their big day – and The Sefton is celebrating too, as a record number of people attended the event.
The Wedding Fair on Sunday, 9th February attracted 347 people, with exhibitors including Andrew Barton Photography, Balloons To Go, Blue Olive Productions, Forever Living, Boxed Off, Graih My Chree, Island Travel, Parties And Occasions Stationery, Photobooth.co.im, SALT, Sweet Sensations, The Cake Lady, Shan’s Photography, Platinum Cars, Switched On Events, Steve Woodley Photography, Pearlsunlimited and The Mill Shop.
Claire Radcliff from Boxed Off said: ‘This was a really special day for us – it is always wonderful to be involved with The Sefton Wedding Fair and to join in with visitors’ excitement at planning their wedding day. The real advantage of the Wedding Fair is that couples can discuss almost all of the requirements for their dream day in just one afternoon.’
The Sefton has long been a favourite venue for wedding receptions as it offers three separate venues - the spectacular Atrium Water Garden, with adjacent Garden Room, which has a capacity of 130; the intimate Cowell Suite, suitable for up to 40 guests; and the Harris Restaurant, which can accommodate up to 80 guests.
At The Sefton’s sister hotel, Best Western Palace Hotel ? Casino, couples have two popular venues to choose from – the Shearwater Suite, suitable for up to 150 guests, and the Cushag Suite, with a capacity of 250.
Sefton Group Marketing Manager Nicola Wilkinson said: ‘We are delighted that so many people came along to our Wedding Fair. It is wonderful to know that these events are helpful for couples planning their big day, and to have so many high calibre exhibitors involved.
‘Our Wedding Fairs have proved extremely popular over the last few years but, for anyone who was unable to make it to this year’s event, we are always happy to answer any questions about using one of our spectacular venues as the location for your wedding.’
‘The Atrium Water Garden has always been in great demand for weddings and, now that there is no longer any requirement to book Atrium bedrooms for wedding nights between September and May, The Sefton is proving even more sought after by couples planning their special day.’
