FA and MIFA reach agreement

by isleofman.com 19th February 2014
The Isle of Man Football Association and the Manx International Football Alliance have reached agreement on a working relationship.
After some public differences over the emergence of MIFA, both parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding setting out how the two bodies will work together.
It makes clear that the FA remains the governing body for the sport on the Isle of Man but will support the additional opportunities MIFA is proposing.
MIFA will send an Ellan Vannin team to the inaugural World Football Cup in Sweden in the first week of June.
Ellan Vannin will also play a friendly against Monaco on Sunday 6th April at The Bowl kicking-off at 6.30pm.
