Week 13 saw some great darts and legs.
Bar Logo 4 - 5 Commie Raven:
Bar Logo were unlucky to lose yet another 5-4 game, last year the Logo were known as the 26 club, this year, it's the 5-4 club.
Their star men of the season, Andy Evans and Alan Young, showed their class yet again with some devastating arrows Andy taking 7 ton+ scores including a 104 finish and a 21 darter on his way to two wins, Alan also won both his games with his lower than usual 5 ton+ scores.
For the Commie lads Lon Chambers was back with a bang hitting 6 ton+scores and good to see Jay Radcliffe and Phil Teare back bagging singles wins.
Commie 2 - 7 Swan:
Two tales here, one the Commie boys scoring darts must have been left at home, as they only hit 6 ton+ scores all night not like them at all, however, Mick Walsh picked up his usual two wins.
On the other hand the Swan boys were hitting the lipstick for fun. The best must had to be Stevie 'Geordie' Waters who hit 5 perfect darts in his singles win finishing the leg in 18darts 3 tons and a 180 he also had a 17 darter in the pairs with Paul Arthur who also showed a little form for a change with 6 ton+ scores including a 105 finish and a 21darter. Wayne Harrison 5 ton+, Paul Palmer 6 ton+ topped off a great win for the second placed team.
Plough A 6 - 3 Mitre:
The A team had their star men banging the tons in, Andy Hudgeon hitting 7 ton+ scores , Geoff 'the hitman' Howland 5 ton+ and a 19 darter, Gazza Uren 7 ton+ scores and a 20dl. Geoff and Tony 'wooka' Kennish taking two wins apiece and continuing their run to what must now be their league title back after losing it for a season. For the Mitre, Roy Dunlop was back to his best this week Roy nailed 5 ton+ scores including the highest finish of the week 115, a 180 and a 15dart leg good to see the form back.
RAOB 2 - 7 Plough B:
The orange army were always going to be up against it playing the Plough B but with John Piekalns in their ranks ( John winning both his games) they have hope and hopefully they can build on this season as along with John they have some decent players in Neil and James Crowe and Rob Wheatley can always cause a shock. Not great this week for scores but they did the job, Jamie Kelly their star performer with 7 ton+ scores and a 18 dart leg.
