Two goals inside the opening quarter of an hour saw St George’s ease to a 4-1 win at Old Boys in the tie of the Paddy Power FA Cup quarter-finals.
The opening goal was controversial with Chris Bass scoring from a seemingly off-side position.
But once Ciaran McNulty added the second from the penalty spot, the Geordies were in control.
Old Boys reduced the arrears through Callum Stewart.
But St George’s eventually emerged comfortable winners with further goals from Johnny Myers and Sam Caine.
They will meet holders St Mary’s in a repeat of last year’s final after they demolished Corinthians 8-0.
Player-manager Sam Kenny put his boots on and showed his enduring class – even at the age of 50 plus – with a goal.
Steven Priestnal, Neil Brogan, Andy Glover (two), Marc Priestnal (two) and Brian Crellin were the others on target at the Bowl.
Peel saw off Division Two Pulrose 7-0, courtesy of goals from Danny Hawke (two), Marc Kelly (two), Andy Quirk, Dan Pickering and Alex Holden.
And they will meet Ramsey in the last four after the northerners showed their character to thrash Marown 8-1 and ensure the Crosby side would not pull off a surprise cup win.
For Marown, who beat Union Mills in the previous round, the consolation was scored by Stuart Morris.
