Russell wins 20 mile race

Adam Russell was a convincing winner of the Leinster Management 20 mile race at the National Sports Centre on Sunday.
He finished four laps ahead of the rest of the field around the perimeter road raceway at the NSC in a time of 2 hours, 8 minutes and 56 seconds.
Nigel Armstrong was the runner-up - his 21st finish in the event - in a time of 2 hours, 20 minutes and 53 seconds.
A further 23 seconds back in third was four-time former winner Paul Curphey.
The leading lady was Helen Taylor in 7th place overall - her time was 2 hours, 38 minutes and 6 seconds.
