Darts Festival starts at Villa Marina

by isleofman.com 6th March 2014
Players and spectators will be awaiting cries of "180" as the Isle of Man International Darts Festival starts at the Villa Marina this evening.
A new rankings competition will get things underway before pairs competitions, the Island play-offs, a youth tournament and the prestigious men's and women's singles provide the action through the weekend.
Tim Glover reports:-
With defending and World Champion Stephen Bunting opting to move from the British Darts Organisation to the rival PDC, the way is clear for a new man to take the main title.
Likely to feature will be Martin "Wolfie" Adams, Tony O'Shea, Darryl Fitton, Scott Waites, Ross Montgomery and Ted "The Count" Hankey.
Women's Champion Anastasia Dobromsylova is back looking to retain her crown but should face strong opposition from the likes of World Champion Lisa Ashton, Trina Gulliver, Deta Hedman and Julie Gore.
Local players will also be relishing the chance to claim a notable scalp or two.Clip 1
