Director of ports explains swing bridge delay

by isleofman.com 6th March 2014

Using parts which are too small has caused damage to some of the mechanisms in Ramsey swing bridge.
Director of Ports Ann Reynolds says fixing those problems properly will take more time than is ideal.
There are concerns the bridge won't be back in action for TT, which could cause significant traffic issues in the town, particularly on Ramsey Sprint day.
Ms Reynolds says having the bridge fixed before then is not impossible, although it is unlikely.
She says the work needs to be done properly, though:Clip 1
