Appeal following incident in Ballacottier Meadows

Police are appealing for information following an alleged incident which occurred between 7pm and 8pm in the area of Ballacottier Meadows, Douglas. A woman was injured and required hospital treatment. A man is now helping the Police with their enquires.
 
Investigating Officer Constable Neil Hastie said,
 
“I’d like to hear from any person who may have any information regarding this alleged incident. Our enquiries are continuing but I would like to reassure the public that this was a contained incident and that there is no danger or threat to members of the public. The injured woman has received treatment and will continue to be supported by Police.”
