The local athletics season gets into full swing today with the Ascot Hotel Manx Harriers Open Meeting.
it takes place around the perimeter roadway at the National Sports Centre.
The meeting attracts top-class race walkers from the UK and Ireland who see it as a great warm-up event for the year ahead.
Junior races get underway from 10am but the main 20km and 10km races start at noon.
The final race of the day is the popular 10Km run which starts at 2.30pm.
