Manx pressure group TravelWatch is holding a public meeting on Saturday - and is encouraging people to come along and have their say.

The meeting starts at 10am in the Villa Marina and will be focusing on how air routes can be safeguarded in the wake of major changes to services in recent months. An attempt to set up a rival service to the Steam Packet by the Ellan Vannin Line will also be up for discussion.

TravelWatch says it is experimenting with giving members of the public an opportunity to speak on a passenger travel topic of their choice. Anyone wishing to introduce a topic should contact the group's chairman, Brendan o'Friel on brendanofriel@manx.net as soon as possible.
