Sponsored dip in aid of DASH

by isleofman.com 12th March 2014

Pictured is David Cain who raised ?240 for the confidential Drug Advice Service & Helpline (DASH) in this year's Ramsey Bay Dip.

Unfortunately, due to severe weather conditions the event was cancelled but David was determined to help the charity raise the funds and stripped off and had a shower anyway.

David, from Ramsey said, 'I'm pleased my friends stepped up to help me raise money for this much needed service. We were in danger of losing DASH last year and I hope to help them again later again this year.'

Director of Services, Shelly Stanley said, 'It really is a fantastic amount and raised in such bad weather we really appreciate the support from David and all those who sponsored him. The funds will go towards our work with children affected by their parents drug or alcohol use.'
