Two teenagers have been released on bail as police investigations continue into the car crash that resulted in the death of 14 year old Lucia Porter.

The St Ninian's High School pupil was travelling in a Ford Fiesta car with seven others when it crashed into a field off the Switchback Road, Peel, late on Saturday night. Two males, one aged 18 and one 19, both of whom are local, are on police bail pending further investigation. Police say the car was registered/owned by one of the people in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

A police spokesman said: 'The investigation is far reaching and thorough and due process has to be followed in managing an
investigation of this nature.'
