Fog causes problems with flights

by isleofman.com 13th March 2014
Heavy fog both here and in the UK are creating problems at Ronaldsway Airport today.

Poor visibility means flights from Dublin and London City this morning have had to be cancelled, and flights from Liverpool and Manchester flights have been suffering delays.

Meanwhile passengers bound for Manchester, Belfast, Gloucester and Gatwick have all faced delays.

Because of air traffic problems, there's been a knock-on effect to newspaper deliveries - which now won't make it to the Island today.

And Isle of Man Post Office says no mail from the UK has arrived on the Island, although local mail is being delivered as normal.
