Appeal after wall damaged by car

Police are investigating a fail to stop road traffic collision that has resulted in considerable damage being caused to a Manx dry stone wall on the Ballakillowey Road opposite Ballakillowey Farm, Colby. This is alleged to have occurred sometime over the weekend beginning Saturday 1st March through to Tuesday 4th March 2014 when the damage was noticed.
 
Police are looking for a dark blue vehicle that will have sustained considerable front end damage from the collision.
 
Police are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed a collision on this road over the stated times or have seen a dark blue vehicle with considerable front end damage to please contact PC Adam Tomlinson at Port Erin Station.
 
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Adam Tomlinson at Port Erin Police Station or alternatively the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
