Formation of group to protect Jurby Church

by isleofman.com 15th March 2014

It is hoped a meeting this afternoon will help lead to a secure future for an iconic building in the north of the Island.

The Friends of Jurby Church is being formed to further support the church and fundraise to maintain it.

Michael MHK Alfred Cannan says the Church is both a landmark and a centre for pastoral care and community events.

He will chair the inaugural meeting at 3pm in Jurby Parish Hall.
