New look for Malew church

by isleofman.com 16th March 2014
Malew Church has unveiled plans for a “tidying-up”, as well as a new war memorial.

The church has applied for planning permission to make changes to its exterior, funded by the Friends of Malew Church.

Its old 1970s cement render will be stripped off, and the walls smoothed down before being painted with a lime wash.

And it’ll add a list of those from the parish killed during World War 2 to its existing memorial window which remembers those killed in the Great War.

You can find out more about the plans online on the government’s website gov.im
