Minister 'regrets' handling of department change

The Home Affairs Minister says he 'regrets' not informing a political colleague he was losing his job in the department.


Peter Karran had been responsible for the drugs and alcohol strategy but lost his job in the government reshuffle.


Mr Karran was disappointed when he found out the news via the media.


Juan Watterson admits it was unfortunate.
