Offshore wind farms - have your say

by isleofman.com 17th March 2014
Organisations on the Isle of Man concerned about plans to site wind farms off the UK will put their case at a public hearing this week.

Tomorrow in the Villa Marina there are two hearings before the UK’s planning inspectorate – one dealing with air navigation and one with sea navigation.

Although the hearings are open to the public, only those who’ve registered their interest beforehand are allowed to address the panel of examining inspectors.

The Manx government, Dong Energy, the Chamber Commerce, Steam Packet Company and Travelwatch are all due to present their cases starting at 10am.
