Douglas woman died in ITU

An inquest into the death of a woman from Tromode was opened and adjourned at Douglas courthouse this morning (Monday).
Sarah Ann Hemingway, 41, was found unconscious at her home in Beechwood Rise on March 3.
The inquest heard she was a heroin user, and had suffered a heart attack.
Ms Hemingway was taken to Noble's Hospital, where it was found she had suffered a massive brain injury, caused by oxygen starvation.
She died in the intensive care unit at Noble's on March 5.
Coroner on Inquests John Needham said a medical cause of death was yet to be established.
He adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
