Small number of ticket available for Scoill Duggery magic show

by isleofman.com 17th March 2014

The Scoill Duggery magic show on 23rd March, organized by the Youth Service and Young Magicians of Mann, is proving to be a very popular event. The magic club for 11 to 18 year olds stages an annual show at the Youth Arts Centre in Douglas and one of the organizers, Paul Martin is delighted that in the Year of Culture it looks likely that the show will once again be performed to a full house. “The club is known for staging professional shows” he explained, “and it’s very rewarding for the 18 members to know that the hall will be filled with an audience enjoying mysteries, illusions and laughter. Unfortunately we can't conjure up any extra tickets, so anyone who hopes to come along needs to book tickets straight way.”  The small number of tickets still available cost ?5 and can be booked through the Youth Office, tel. 686057 during office hours. At other times, messages can be left on 878328.

The Young Magicians of Mann will be heading south for their next show, and will stage ‘It’s Magic’ at the Erin Arts Centre on the afternoon of Sunday, 4 May. This will be the first time that they have appeared in a full-length show at the EAC, and it promises to be another fantastic afternoon of fun for all the family.  Further information can be found on their website www.ymom.info.
