Cav wins sixth stage of Tirreno Adriatico

Mark Cavendish has won stage six of the Tirreno Adriatico in Italy.
His Omega Pharma - Quick-Step team dominated the front of the peloton in the closing stages, and gave him the perfect lead-out.
That left Cav able to make the final burst for the line with no pressure from any of his sprint rivals.
OPQS was so effective Alessandro Petacchi finished second, and Mark Renshaw ninth.
Meanwhile, Peter Kennaugh enjoyed a stint at the front of the race, taking part in the breakaway.
The Team Sky rider sped off with another three riders at the start of the stage, maintaining a gap until the latter part of it when they were swallowed up by the peloton.
