Minister promises improvements in Services for children and young people

This time it will be different.
That promise about the future of services for children and young people in the Isle of Man from Chris Robertshaw MHK.
As the head of the Council of Minister's Social Policy and Children's Committee, Mr Robertshaw bought forward a report by the Care of Inspectorate for Scotland to Tynwald today. [Tues]
There was a lengthy and passionate debate about the report's findings, namely that areas of care were either found to be weak or adequate at best.
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan put forward an amendment calling for an action plan to implement the report's views and report back by May.
This amendment was unanimously supported.
