Felled trees are not a supply of free wood

by isleofman.com 19th March 2014
Wood from trees felled on Peel Road isn't free to be taken by members of the public.
Police have issued the warning after a number of trees were removed without the permission of the Department of Infrastructure or the landowner's permission.
They add that those responsible are committing an offence of theft as the wood belongs to the landowner, regardless of whether or not it has been felled and left for removal.
They say any suspicious behaviour in the region should be reported.
