The Isle of Man Constabulary would like to express its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Michael Joseph Davidson.

The Isle of Man Constabulary respects the findings of the Coroner and the Inquest Jury.

The Constabulary takes its responsibility and duty of care to detainees seriously.

Processes are constantly reviewed and enhanced with a background of applied professional practice to achieve this. As the Coroner has said in his findings the process has improved and is different now and the Constabulary will follow his recommendation.
