Marown reach Woods Cup final

Marown are through to the final of the GH Corlett Woods Cup.
Doubles from Shaun Shimmin and Joey Rothwell fired them to a 4-2 win over Douglas Royal.
In JCK Division Two, Ayre United and Colby maintained their promotion push.
A double from Craig Gelling – against his former club - helped the southerners to a 4-1 win at lowly Foxdale.
Ashley Blake and Juan Kinvig netted the others.
Meanwhile, Ayre triumphed 5-2 at Douglas and District to stay in second spot.
Johnny Kelly (two), Phil Quayle, Elliot Cureton and Christian Penswick were on target for the Tangerines.
Richard Sparks and Kevin Doyle scored for D&D.
Braddan overcame a half-time deficit to win 3-2 at home to Pulrose.
Ray Lovell, Will Smith and Mark O’Neill scored their goals with regular marksman Barry English scoring both for Pulrose.
Douglas Athletic ran out 3-1 home winners over Malew, thanks to Danny O’Hare (two) and Steve Kelly goals.
Mark Knotman replied for the southerners.
