Bid to translate graves successful

A bid to translate Jewish war graves in Douglas Crematorium has paid dividends.

After a request on Manx Radio at lunchtime, a member of the public’s come forward to help translate the inscription on three gravestones.

Roger Christian, a lay member for the Preservation of War Memorials Committee, says they’ve made some welcome discoveries in their work.Clip 1
