Bus consultation needed, says MHK

West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas says it’s vital people are consulted before the government makes changes to the Island’s bus routes.

In the House of Keys tomorrow he’ll quiz Infrastructure Minister Laurence Skelly about what consultation is being undertaken before a new timetable is brought in later this year.

Mr Thomas says with just two months before the new schedules are introduced he’s concerned people haven’t had their say.

And he says it’s important not to repeat mistakes made in the past, when changes to bus routes caused an outcry from passengers:Clip 1
