by isleofman.com 26th March 2014
Castle Rushen High School will have a new head from September.
Keith Winstanley will replace Andrew Cole who is retiring in August after a 38 year career in education.
Mr Winstanley was brought up on the Isle of Man and educated at Peel Clothworkers’ School and Queen Elizabeth II High School before attending Salford University where he took a degree in Geography.
He taught in Hampshire for 14 years before returning to the Island in 2008.
He was deputy headteacher at Queen Elizabeth II High School for a year before moving to Ballakermeen a year later and says he's now looking forward to getting to know staff and children at Castle Rushen.
